About the Stupa
The Stupa represents Buddha’s holy mind, and each part of its form symbolises an aspect of the path to enlightenment.
Jam Tse Dhargyey Ling’s Stupa took nearly eight years to build and is situated above the centre in a striking position overlooking Whangarei and its harbour.
- Please arrange your visit with the centre.
- Wear suitable shoes for the climb.
- Move around the Stupa quietly and respectfully.
- Ask before photographing people or ceremonies.
